Syngenta's First-Quarter Sales Increase 13%, to $4 Billion

Syngenta posted first-quarter 2011 sales of $4 billion, an increase of 13% compared with the same period one year earlier. The figures are based on a constant exchange rate. Volumes expanded 14% during the period. The results are the company’s fourth consecutive quarter of double-digit growth.
