Syngenta Calls for Global Technology Cooperation

A “worldwide collaboration” is required to raise crop yields, John Atkin, Syngenta COO told delegates at the World Grain Forum held earlier this week at St. Petersburg, Russia. Atkin chose the event to highlight the essential role of technology in meeting global food demand. “We only have one planet, we need worldwide collaboration to raise yields through the use of modern technology, supportive government policies and efficient global trade,” he says.
