Sumitomo Chemical launches new seed treatment in the US

Sumitomo Chemical announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary Valent U.S.A. (Walnut Creek, CA) has launched a new crop protection product in the United States for seed treatment on soybeans. The new product, Intego suite system, contains an ethaboxam fungicide, Sumitomo Chemical’s active ingredient.   Demand for crop protection products for seed treatment has been growing significantly in recent years, mainly in the United States, the world's largest market for the products, amid large-scale farming's ongoing evolution.
