ScottsMiracle-Gro Signs Biopesticide Development Deal

ScottsMiracle-Gro (Marysville, OH) and Marrone Bio Innovations (Davis, CA) say they have entered into an agreement to adapt agricultural biopesticides for the consumer market. Under the terms of the deal, ScottsMiracle-Gro will have access to Marrone’s portfolio of biopesticides to develop new products for the lawn and garden market; the two companies will collaborate on R&D efforts, and Marron will manufacture any resulting products.
