Markets :: Fine Chemicals/Biotech :: Agricultural chemicals Rashtriya Outlines Plans for DAP Plant in India12:20 PM MDT | July 25, 2007 | Deepti Ramesh Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd (RCF; Mumbai) says it will hold a 51% stake in its planned 255,000-m.t.year diammonium phosphate (DAP) plant joint venture with Rajasthan State Mines & Minerals Ltd (RSMML; Udaipur). RSMML will hold the remaining shares. The companies will invest a total of about $90 million to build the plant, which will be located at Kapasan in the northwestern Indian state of Rajasthan, RCF says (CW, Feb. 28, p. 22).
