PotashCorp’s Earnings Double; Announces Stock Split

Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan (PotashCorp) reported fourth-quarter earnings of $482.3 million, more than double earnings in the same period of 2009. The company cites “significantly improved demand and strong price momentum across all three nutrients.” Sales rose 65%, to $1.8 billion.
