PotashCorp to slash more than 1,000 jobs, close plants to improve performance

PotashCorp announced today that it is taking the “difficult but necessary” step to reduce its workforce in Canada, the United States, and Trinidad by approximately 18%, equivalent to more than 1,000 people.
