One Dead Following Fire at Bayer Plant in India

Bayer CropScience informed the Bombay Stock Exchange (Mumbai) in a statement today that a fire occurred at the company’s production facility at Ankleshwar, India on March 11, and that one employee died as a result of the incident. The fire occurred in a plant where active ingredients for crop protection products are produced, and the blaze was brought under control within 25 minutes, the company says.
