Monsanto Raises Full-Year Outlook

Monsanto increased its profit outlook for its 2012 fiscal year, citing strong seed sales through the end of the North and South American growing seasons. The company expects earnings of $3.65-$3.70 for its fiscal year ended August 31, 2012, 4.5% higher than its prior guidance and 24% above fiscal year 2011 earnings of $2.96/share.
