Mitsui Chemicals Acquires Stake in Brazilian Agchem Company

Mitsui Chemicals says its Mitsui Chemicals Agro (Tokyo) subsidiary has entered into a share purchase agreement with Agroinvest Kayatani Administração, Empreendimentos e Participações (São Paulo, Brazil) to acquire an 11.89% stake in agchem company Iharabras S.A. Indústrias Químicas (IBIQ; São Paulo). Financial details were not disclosed. IBIQ, which was established in 1965, manufactures and sells formulations for pesticides, and has annual sales of about R$498 million ($281 million), Mitsui says. Mitsui...
