Makhteshim Agan Names New Chairman

Makhteshim Agan Industries (Tel Aviv) has named Ami Erel as its next chairman, effective January 1, 2011. Erel succeeds Avraham Bigger, whose resignation as chairman was announced earlier this week. Erel is currently president and CEO of holding company Discount Investment Corp. (DIC; Tel Aviv). DIC holds 63% of Koor Industries (Tel Aviv). Koor owns 47% of Makhteshim Agan.
