Lanxess Completes Acquisitions in China and India

Lanxess says it has completed the previously announced acquisition of chemical business and assets of Gwalior Chemical Industries (Mumbai) for €82.4 million ($112 million), and also the business and production assets of Chinese-based Jiangsu Polyols Chemical for an undisclosed sum. The transactions have received the necessary approvals, and have taken economic and legal effect on September 1, 2009, Lanxess says.
