Japan Approves Bayer's Isotianil Fungicide

Regulatory authorities in Japan have approved the commercial use of Bayer CropScience’s Isotianil fungicide. It targets world’s most economically important rice disease; rice blast fungus. The active ingredient is marketed under the brand name Routine.   Isotianil has been licensed by Bayer since 2009.
