(GPIC; Manama, Bahrain) says it has opened its previously announced carbon dioxide (CO2) recovery plant at the company’s Sitra, Bahrain manufacturing complex. The recovery unit can capture 450 m.t./day of CO2, and the captured CO2 will be used as feedstock for urea and methanol synthesis processes, GPIC says.
