FMC's Income Soars; Boosts Earnings Guidance

FMC announced second-quarter net income of $107.2 million ($1.49/share), up 63% from the year ago period but falling short of analyst estimates of 1.51/share, according to Thomson One (New York). Net income in the current quarter included restructuring and other income and charges of $3.3 million after-tax.
