Markets :: Fine Chemicals/Biotech :: Agricultural chemicals FMC Signs Biofungicide Deal9:51 AM MDT | August 31, 2011 | Rebecca Coons FMC says it has signed an exclusive development and distribution deal with Marrone Bio Innovations (MBI; Davis, CA) for MBI's Regalia Maxx Biofungicide in Latin America. The product recently received regulatory approval in Mexico, and sales are expected to begin in December. FMC is testing Regalia Maxx in Brazilian vegetable crops and plans to expand development to other formulations and premix products. The product was approved in the U.S. in 2009, MBI says.
