The company says the herbicide, sold under the brand name Huskie, will be available for the spring 2008 season. Bayer CropScience expects approvals in Australia and Canada later this year. Pyrasulfotole is the first 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (HPPD) inhibitor for cereals in North America, and can be used to control sulfonylurea-resistant weeds, the company says. “Our portfolio of new herbicidal active ingredients launched since 2000...
