EFSA consults on pesticide degradation time

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA; Parma, Italy) says it has launched a public consultation on draft guidance regarding a methodology for pesticide degradation in soil or water. The methodology will help scientists evaluate laboratory and field dissipation studies to obtain the degradation rate parameters (DegT50 values) of active substances of plant protection products, as well as transformation products of these active substances in soil.
