DuPont Agrees to Recall Herbicide After Reports of Tree Damage

DuPont will recall the herbicide Imprelis from distributors and customers after complaints citing widespread damage to trees, according to correspondence between DuPont and EPA. The active ingredient in Imprelis, aminocyclopyrachlor, received conditional approval from EPA last October, but customers recently began notifying DuPont and EPA that the herbicide appears to cause extensive damage to mature trees including Norway spruce and white pines....
