Dow developing competitor to Monsanto's Intacta soybean

Dow AgroSciences is advancing an insect-resistant soybean for South America that, if approved, will compete directly with a newly launched seed Monsanto expects to be its next blockbuster. Dow says it expects its trait to be available in Brazil and Argentina in the next three to five years, pending regulatory approvals.
