Consultation on harmonized classification and labeling proposals launched on pencycuron, benzovindiflupyr

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) has started a public consultation on harmonized classification and labelling (CLH) proposals for the pesticides pencycuron and benzovindiflupyr. Neither substance has a harmonized classification, ECHA says. The public consultation is open for 45 days. The deadline for submitting comments is 13 June. Pencycuron is used as a fungicide on potatoes as a seed treatment. The dossier submitter, the Netherlands, is proposing classification for environmental hazards.
