Bayer CropScience, a leading agchem producer, has embarked on a strategy built around four growth pillars and says it is likely to exceed previously announced targets for its bioscience business and for the estimated value of its product-development pipeline. The company also reiterated its guidelines for 2011, which include a “high single-digit” percentage sales improvement on a currency- and portfolio-adjusted basis.
