Bayer CropScience acquires biological seed treatment firm Biagro

Bayer CropScience announced today that it has signed an agreement to acquire Biagro Group (Gral Las Heras, Argentina), a producer and distributor of biological seed treatment solutions. Biagro, established in 1984, has approximately 140 employees and production facilities in Argentina and Brazil. Its portfolio includes seed-applied inoculants, plant growth-promoting microorganisms and other products for integrated pest management based on bacterial and fungal strains.
