BASF to Expand Fungicides Capacity in Germany, U.S. with €200-Million Investment

BASF announced today that it will invest €200 million ($258.3 million) to expand capacity for several key fungicides, including F500 and Xemium. The expansion will take place at the company’s plants at Schwarzheide and Ludwigshafen, in Germany, and at Sparks, GA. This is one of the crop protection division’s largest capital spendings in recent years.
