BASF opens crop protection products plant in China

The first batch of crop protection products coming off the production line of BASF’s new formulation and packaging plant at Rudong. BASF says that it has opened its previously announced first formulation and packaging plant for crop protection products in China. The new 10,000-m.t./year plant is located in the Yangkou Chemical Industrial Park at Rudong, Jiangsu Province. The facility, which will employ over 100 people, will allow BASF to provide tailored products for farmers in the region, including fungicides, insecticides and herbicides solutions...
