As part of the rationalization measures undertaken by the company, BASF stopped production of agchems at the Dadra site in July this year. “Dadra is a small agchem unit, where BASF conducted some of its formulation activities. With the entry of generics to the market, the volumes of agchems formulated at Dadra was coming down, impacting the utilization of the plant,” BASF says. “Production activities...
