American Vanguard Profits Surge

America Vanguard (AmVac) posted net income of $6.4 million for its fiscal fourth quarter ended December 31, 2011,  64% higher than the same year-ago quarter. Sales increased 36%, to $62.4 million, on strong domestic and international demand for existing products.
