Saudi Kayan brings polycarbonate plant back online; amines units to follow

Saudi Kayan, a Sabic affiliate, says that its polycarbonate manufacturing facility at Al Jubail has been brought back onstream following maintenance. Kayan announced end of January that it is shutting down a number of plants for “scheduled periodic maintenance.” The polycarbonate plant, with capacity for 260,000 m.t./year, started production again on 30 April, the company says.
