DSM and Mitsubishi Chemical Sign Contracts for Exchanging Businesses

DSM says its DSM Engineering Plastics business has today signed contracts with Mitsubishi Chemical to enable DSM to acquire Mitsubishi’s polyamide business in exchange for DSM’s polycarbonate business. The companies had first announced their plans to exchange the businesses in May 2009. The transaction is subject to various external approvals and is expected to close in the second quarter of 2010.
