Bayer MaterialScience Changes Polycarbonate Distributors

Bayer MaterialScience LLC (BMS; Pittsburgh), the North American subsidiary of Bayer MaterialScience AG, says specialty chemical company Ashland will no longer be a distributor of BMS’ polycarbonate (PC) products effective August 1. BMS will accept PC orders from Ashland until May 29, the company says. However, Ashland will remain an authorized distributor for BMS’ thermoplastic polyurethane resins.
