The FDA regulation at issue governs the use of polycarbonates in food contact materials and currently does not prohibit BPA in baby bottles or sippy cups. ACC says the move does not mean it has altered its position that BPA is safe in those products, rather it is a reflection of a U.S. marketplace reality.
