Celanese to expand its long-fiber-reinforced thermoplastic production in Brazil

Celanese will expand its manufacturing facilities at Suzano, Brazil, to include long-fiber-reinforced thermoplastics (LFRT) production, the company announced today. The new capacity is expected to be operational by mid-2015. Celanese already compounds polyacetals and polybutylene terephthalates (themoplastic polyester) at the site, Celanese adds. Celanese has not disclosed existing capacities at the site or of that of the expansion.
