Asahi Kasei Establishes Performance Plastics Sales Subsidiary in China

Asahi Kasei Chemicals (AKC), an Asahi Kasei subsidiary, says it has established a sales subsidiary dubbed Asahi Kasei Plastics Guangzhou at Guangzhou, China, to reinforce the sales and marketing of performance plastics in southern China. “Recent years have seen remarkable demand growth in southern China, most notably in automotive applications, and this trend is forecasted to continue over the coming years,” AKC says.
