Ube to Increase Capacity for Caprolactam and Nylon in Thailand, Open Nylon-6 Facility

Ube Industries says that its Ube Chemicals Asia (Bangkok) subsidiary will increase the production capacity for caprolactam and nylon at Rayong, Thailand, to meet the rising demand in Asia including China. Ube Chemicals Asia was established on February 1, 2010 following the merger of Ube’s Thai Caprolactam (Bangkok) and Ube Nylon Thailand (Bangkok) subsidiaries.
