Solutia Boosts Nylon Prices

Solutia says it will increase prices for all its Ascend and Vydyne brand nylon-6,6 resins in North America by 10 cts/lb. The increase applies to orders shipped on or after April 15. “We are implementing this price increase due to sustained high raw material, energy, and transportation costs that continue to affect our business,” says Robert Jacobs, sales manager/Americas at Solutia’s nylon plastics and polymers...
