K2010: Solvay Focuses on Bio-Based Businesses, Concludes Deal with Mitsubishi Gas Chemical

Solvay says it is putting a major focus on the devolopment of bio-based products under the company's commitment to sustainability. Solvay Advanced Polymers (SAP; Alphareta,GA) has announced a collaboration with Mitsubishi Gas Chemical (MGC) focusing on the development of a “unique line of renewably sourced” specialty polymers, using bio-based sebacic acid.
