Invista Moves Forward with Nylon-6,6 and Intermediates Plant at Shanghai

Invista says it is moving forward with its previously announced plan to build a nylon-6,6 intermediates and polymers plant at Shanghai, China. The plant will use the company’s proprietary butadiene-based technology to produce hexamethylene diamine (HMD) and adiponitrile (ADN), along with a variety of specialty chemicals and nylon-6,6 polymer.
