Invista Enters Nylon-6,6 Plastic Market

Koch Industries’ Invista unit has confirmed plans to enter the nylon-6,6 engineering polymers business. Resin production will be added at existing Invista production sites in North America and Europe, and the company plans to build polymer capacity in Asia as well. Capacity was not disclosed but Invista material will be in the market “very soon,” Invista officials say.
