DSM to build nylon-6 plant in North America

DSM will build a polymerization plant in North America to manufacture nylon-6, the company announced today. Construction is scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of 2014 and completion is targeted for mid-2016. Site locations for the plant are being evaluated. The plant's capacity has not been announced, and DSM says that financial details of the investment will not be disclosed.
