Ube expands nylon-6 capacity in Spain

Ube Industries says it has decided to build additional manufacturing capacity for nylon-6 at the production site of its Ube Engineering Plastics (Castellón, Spain) subsidiary, in order to meet growing demand for high added-value nylon in the European and North American markets. The expansion will add 10,000 m.t./year of production capacity and is expected to start operations in March 2015.
