Victrex to build polyaryletherketones plant in the UK

Victrex Polymer Solutions (Thornton Cleveleys, UK), a subsidiary of Victrex Plc, today announced a major expansion in polyaryletherketones (PAEK) capacity by early 2015. The company, the world’s leading producer of the high-performance polymer, will build a plant with capacity for 2,900 m.t./year. The expansion will raise Victrex’s total PAEK capacity to 7,150 m.t./year.
