Cargill Acquires Teijin’s 50% Stake in NatureWorks

Teijin says it has transferred its 50% ownership in NatureWorks (Minnetonka, MN) to Cargill and has terminated the NatureWorks joint venture contract with Cargill as of June 30. NatureWorks, a 50-50 jv between Cargill and Teijin that produces biobased plastics and resins, is now an independent company wholly owned by Cargill.
