Korea Kumho to Build China ABS Compounding Plant

Korea Kumho Petrochemical (Seoul) plans to build an acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) compounding plant at Foshan, China, by the end of 2010, local media reports say. Initial capacity will be 10,000 m.t./year of ABS compounds in 2010, with plans to expand capacity to 50,000 m.t./year by 2015 and 100,000 m.t./year by 2018.
