Cabot Expands Carbon Black Capacity at Tianjin

Cabot Corp. says it has expanded carbon black capacity at its Tianjin, China facility by 150,000 m.t./year, bringing total capacity to about 300,000 m.t./year. The facility is a project of Cabot Chemical (Tianjin) Co., an equity joint venture between Cabot (China) Limited, and Shanghai Coking Chemical Company.
