Keyuan Petrochemicals to Build ABS Plant in China (Update)

Keyuan Petrochemicals (Ningbo, China) says it will build an acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) plant at Fangchenggang, Guangxi Province, China. Construction will begin next month. The company signed a cooperation agreement with the local government in Guangxi on January 19. The facility, called Guangxi Keyuan New Materials Industrial Park, when fully operational, is expected to have a production capacity of 400,000 m.t./year of ABS.
