BASF and Ineos Offer to Divest Plant to Gain EU Approval for Styrolution JV

BASF has confirmed that BASF and Ineos have offered the EU Commission to sell one plant to gain regulatory approval from the commission for their Styrolution styrenics joint venture. The commssion has extended the deadline for its approval from May 18 to June 1, after "BASF offered commitments."
