Qingdao Hajing will use the technologies in a project it will build at its new site at Dongjia-kou Pro Port Industrial Zone, Qingdao, China. The 400,000 m.t./year VCM plant will produce VCM by pyrolysis of ethylene dichloride, which will be produced using high and low temperature chlorination and Ineos’s two stage fixed bed oxy-chlorination process.
