Lubrizol to build CPVC resin and compounding facility in Texas

Lubrizol says it will build a resin and compounding manufacturing facility at Deer Park, TX—expanding its capacity for building and construction customers globally. The company is investing about $125 million over a three-year period for the project. The project is part of a multi-phased expansion plan for its chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) business, and the Texas facility is expected to be operational by the fourth quarter of 2014.
