Dow TDI Plant on Turnaround

Dow Chemical says it shut its toluene diisocyanate (TDI) plant in Camaçari, Brazil on April 10 for a 30-day maintenance turnaround. Dow says it is evaluating additional production capabilities and improvements at its TDI units. The company is conducting a joint feasibility study with BASF for a 300,000-m.t./year TDI plant at one of their integrated sites in Europe.
