Uhde Inventa-Fischer awarded contract for JBF's PET project in Belgium, the biggest in Europe

Uhde Inventa-Fischer says it has been awarded a contract by JBF Industries (Mumbai) to build at BP's Geel, Belgium, manufacturing complex, the biggest polyethylene terephthalate (PET) production plant in Europe. The plant will have nameplate capacity for 432,000 m.t./year of high-quality PET for bottling and packaging applications, the company says.
